After the stupendous success of The Voice Kid India, &TV is back with season 2 and is calling all the sweet voices to showcase their vocal talents and make heads turn.
Taking on the mantle of mentoring this battalion of aspiring young singers will be judged by four coaches – ace singer and music director- Himesh Reshammiya; the ever-smiling and inimitable singer Shaan; the soulful singer-composer- Papon and the youngest coach- Palak Muchhal. It will be interesting to watch these little wonders, however little in size, make heads turn with the power of their Voice! Popular actor Jay Bhanushali will be seen as host of the show.
Aged between 7- 14 years, the contestants will test the power of their ‘voice’ by convincing the coaches to root for them.
Talking about being a part of the show, Himesh Reshammiya said, “The Voice India Kids is a platform which captures the true essence of music and gives many talented children an opportunity to get their melodious voices heard. I personally love being around children and they are my biggest source of inspiration; the purity of their souls always reflects in their music. I am thrilled to be a part of The Voice India Kids and am looking forward to an exciting new musical journey.”
Adding further Shaan said, “It’s always a pleasure to return to a show where to climb the ladder of success, one must exhibit the power of their voice. The Voice India is very close to my heart because it puts forth the kind of music and voice that touches your soul. The energy and talent in this show remains untouched over the seasons, and I am looking forward to yet another outstanding display of talent this year.”
Papon, who is becoming a part of the show for the first time, said: “I have never been to any other reality show, I won’t be able to compare, this is a special show. Of course, music is there but I think what is the good part of the show is how we are connected to all the kids. The relation has developed very organically.”
Commenting on her debut on the show, Palak Muchhal said, “It takes a stage like The Voice India to show the country how powerful performances can appeal to the most discerning minds. The blind selections of teams ensure that any external biases are eliminated and only the most heart-warming voices proceed in the competition. It’s this opportunity to explore and prove your talent which I have always respected. In a country like ours, where there is talent hidden at every turn, platforms like The Voice India make a big difference in a person’s life. I hope to do justice as a coach and help inculcate the skill set required to achieve success amongst the young contestants.’’
The Voice India Kids 2, produced by Essel Vision, will air starting 11th November, 2017 every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM only on &TV.
