Kanika Kapoor Becomes The First Indian Singer To Perform At Buckingham Palace

Popular Bollywood singing sensation, Kanika Kapoor recently attended the 10th Anniversary celebration of the British Asian Trust in London. She happens to be the ambassador of the trust. Interestingly, Prince Charles invited Kanika to perform at the celebration hosted by him.  She kept the audiences entertained with a live mix of Sufi and popular English songs. The music was curated by the well-known British music producer, Naughty Boy. And it was an evening to remember according to the guests present there. With her performance at the 10th Anniversary celebration of the British Asian Trust in London, she is the first Indian artist to have performed at the Buckingham Palace.

An elated Kanika said, “It was an honour to perform in the Buckingham Palace for the 10th Anniversary of British Asian Trust at a celebration hosted by Prince Charles last night. Also the fact that I am the first Indian to perform there was a special feeling altogether. I am looking forward to more such events in the near future.”

Kanika has been a part of Prince Charles’ earlier functions as well such as the Elephant Family Charity’s Travels To My Elephants hosted by the royal couple in London. Kanika is also known to be friends with the likes of Alberta Ferretti, Stefano Gabbana and many high profile socialites of the West.
